A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7:00 a.m. Friday for parts of Douglas County.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said snow is expected for elevations above 2,000 feet with total accumulations of between 2 and 4 inches. Trace amounts to 2 inches are forecast for elevations below 2,000 feet.
The Advisory area is for elevations above 2,000 feet in central Douglas County and its eastern foothills. This includes Canyon Creek Pass and Stage Pass on Interstate 5.
