Winston Police jailed a man Thursday due to a warrant that was out for his arrest.

A WPD report said 23-year-old Austin Paul Beamer’s warrant was for a charge he was originally given in January for luring a minor and online sexual corruption of a child in the second-degree. At that time WPD reported that Beamer had allegedly engaged in an online relationship with a juvenile and requested to meet her for sexual contact. On January 8th, Beamer was located at his residence and taken into custody.

After being contacted on Wednesday, Beamer was detained on $10,000 bail.
