Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said 8:40 p.m. officers contacted the 25-year-old under the pavilion at Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man was wanted by his parole officer and was ultimately arrested. While being detained, the man was reportedly found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected methamphetamine.

He was taken to corrections. The man was detained without bail. He was cited for unlawful possession of meth.
