Roseburg Police jailed a woman following a reported theft incident on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:40 p.m. the 31-year-old was allegedly seen on camera stealing a phone from a business in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. When contacted in the 900 block of Northeast Rowe Street, she admitted to stealing a phone case but not the phone.

Officers told the woman she was under arrest multiple times as she allegedly fought and resisted from being detained. She was charged with first-degree theft and resisting arrest. She was detained without bail.
