Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a restraining order violation on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 3:50 p.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Northeast Oswego Avenue after a victim said the suspect has violated an active restraining order by contacting him in person at his residence, as well as via text messages she had allegedly sent him.

Officers contacted the suspect a short time later and she admitted to both incidents. She was detained on $5,000 bail.
