Sutherlin Police jailed a man for violation of a release agreement, on Sunday.

An SPD report said at 4:20 p.m. the 53-year-old was contacted in the 400 block of North Comstock Road. He had an order restricting him from being within 150 feet of that location. The man was taken into custody as he exited the home.

He was detained on $5,000 bail.
