Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for reportedly driving while suspended twice in thirty minutes on Monday.
A DCSO report said at 9:40 p.m. the 50-year-old was stopped for traffic violations near the intersection of Carnes Road and Green Siding Road in Green. He returned with a felony charge of driving while suspended. The man was cited and released and told not to drive, as his vehicle was legally parked.
At 10:10 p.m. the deputy observed the same man driving again and pulled him over at the intersection of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Rice Avenue in Roseburg.
The driver was taken into custody and charged with a felony count of driving while suspended. He was cited for driving uninsured. The man was detained without bail.
