Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 3:45 p.m. the 48-year-old allegedly entered a store in the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and began drinking beer and pouring beers on the floor. The suspect was reportedly pouring beer onto one of the displays when officers arrived.

The man was charged with third-degree counts of criminal mischief and theft. Bail was set at $2,500.
