Roseburg Police jailed 3 people and cited 6 for offensive littering early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said starting at around 3:40 a.m. officers conducted a security check on camps at The Point in Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street.

Those contacted reportedly had excessive amounts of trash in their camps.
The individuals cited were told to clean up their camps and were released.
