Roseburg Police jailed a man for reported trespassing on Wednesday night.

An RPD report said at 8:50 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Southeast Reservoir Avenue after the homeowner said there was man trespassing on his roof. Officers arrived on the scene and located the 43-year-old who was still up on the roof.

The man was taken into custody and charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,000.
