Roseburg Police jailed a man for a probation violation following a disturbance on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 10:00 p.m. officers responded after a caller said there was a disturbance in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Contact was made with the 24-year-old near a business nearby and he was detained. During the investigation, officers found that the man had violated a condition of his probation by drinking. His probation officer authorized that he be taken into custody for the violation.

The man was detained without bail.
