Roseburg Police charged a man Thursday for a reported prior theft incident.

An RPD report said at 3:35 p.m. officers contacted 42-year-old Richard Harris at the Douglas County Jail, after he was arrested on an unrelated charge. Harris admitted to stealing items on a previous theft incident from December 12th. He was charged with third-degree theft in the case.

Bail on all his charges was set at $50,000.
