Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported criminal mischief incident on Monday.

An RPD report said the 32-year-old was a suspect in an ongoing case. At 8:25 p.m. the man admitted to drilling a hole into a gas tank and stealing gasoline from a pickup in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. He was detained on $6,250 bail.
