ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Monday.

An RPD report said at 12:15 p.m. officers spoke to a 43-year-old after he was called in for being under the influence of methamphetamine and locked in a family member’s vehicle in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street.

While inside the vehicle, the suspect reportedly broke the instrument cluster and ripped off the turn signal lever. He was taken into custody without incident. The man was charged with second-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $6,250.
