Last week, Oregon House Republicans announced a new leadership team for the 2025 Legislative Session.
A release from the Oregon House Republicans Caucus said the team is bringing seasoned lawmakers committed to providing accountability and prioritizing policies that benefit Oregonians.
House Republican Leader Christine Drazen said, “The voice of the minority party is crucial to the legislative process and ensures that unheard Oregonians are included in the policies that affect their lives”. Drazan said, “The House Republican Leadership team includes strong leaders who are committed to serving the best interests of their constituents, holding government accountable, and being a voice for the minority party in our state”.
The full team includes:
*House Republican Leader: Christine Drazan of Canby
*Deputy Leader: Lucetta Elmer of McMinnville
*Whip: Virgle Osborne of Roseburg
*Assistant leaders: Shelly Boshard-Davis of Albany, Mark Owens of Crane and Emily McIntire of Eagle Point
*Ex-Officio: Greg Smith of Heppner
