ONE DRIVER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT WEDNESDAY

One driver was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon.

A Sutherlin Police report said just after 4:10 p.m. a driver failed to yield the right of way when turning and caused a collision with a second vehicle at the corner of East Central Avenue and South Calapooia Street. The second driver, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with the complaint of neck pain.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to yield.
