A fire burned a mobile home and a vehicle in the 500 block of Shadow Ranch Lane, just north of Roseburg on Wednesday.
A release from Central Douglas Fire & Rescue said crews responded to the fire shortly after 10:35 a.m. Upon arrival, one of the agency’s chief officers observed a sedan on fire in a carport that extended into the structure.
First responders initiated an offensive attack and conducted a primary search of the home. All occupants were able to safely escape the mobile home and were checked on by ambulance crews for smoke inhalation.
Central Douglas Fire & Rescue responded with 3 fire engines and 2 command vehicles. Fire crews were assisted by the Roseburg Fire Department, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Umpqua Valley Ambulance and Pacific Power.
