A Roseburg woman was taken to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident on Monday night.
An Oregon State Police report said just after 7:20 p.m. the driver of a sedan was westbound on Highway 138E in the Steamboat area. The driver attempted to slow for a deer in the roadway and the vehicle spun out due to icy conditions. The sedan rolled on its side before coming to rest. The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance for possible injuries. A tow company responded and recovered the vehicle.
