SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWNG ALLEGED TRESPASS/DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENTS

Sutherlin Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass and disorderly conduct incidents on Saturday.

An SPD report said 31-year-old Rusty McGill was allegedly found inside a business in the 900 block of West Central Avenue and was trespassed by the owner. After being trespassed from the property, McGill reportedly returned to the location multiple times and made threats to hurt the owner and burn down the building.

Just after 6:00 p.m. the suspect was taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. On the way to the jail, McGill reportedly spit inside the patrol vehicle. He was also charged with third-degree criminal mischief. McGill was detained on $5,000 bail.
