One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Friday night.
A Roseburg Police report said at 10:15 p.m. officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Northeast Winchester Street and Northeast Klamath Avenue. The first driver told officers that she was making a left turn from Klamath Avenue onto Winchester Street, and even though she saw a second vehicle driving north and coming towards her, she believed he had enough time to make her turn.
The second driver confirmed the first driver’s account of the wreck and stated his right leg was injured in the crash. The 22-year-old man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center via ambulance. The driver that caused the accident was cited from failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
