No one was hurt in a semi-truck and trailer, and SUV accident on Thursday night.
An Oregon State Police report said at 7:45 p.m. both vehicles were headed northbound on Interstate 5 near the Edenbower Boulevard interchange in Roseburg, traveling in separate lanes. Near the freeway exit the vehicles were side by side. The SUV approached the front of the semi-truck when the front of the semi and the rear of the SUV made contact, causing the SUV to spin around the front of the semi, and impact the dividing concrete barrier in the median.
The driver of the SUV stated the semi-truck had started to merge into his lane. The driver of the semi said he had maintained his lane of travel. Witnesses did not see the cause of the crash. Road evidence could not determine who was at fault. The SUV was towed from the scene.
