Umpqua Actors Community Theatre presents “A Christmas Story” opening December 5th.

In this classic story, Ralphie Parker wants a genuine Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. He pleads his case and is given a consistent response which is, “You’ll shoot your eye out”. All the elements from the motion picture are in the production, including the exploding fireplace, Scut Farkas, the school bully; the wet tongue on a cold lamppost; the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin; and the famous leg lamp.

The production will be on stage Thursday through Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. through December 22nd. A number of performances are already sold out. Tickets are $17 for adults, and $12 for children age 12 and under.  Purchase advance tickets at: https://www.uact-theatre.com/
