In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The 14th annual Elkton Art & Wine weekend continues through Sunday.
Presented by the Elkton Community Education Center, the festive event will offer a unique opportunity to experience the area’s artistic and viticultural talents while taking in the beautiful landscapes that surround the area.
Visitors will find a variety of handmade gifts from talented local artisans, many of whom will also showcase their work at local wineries and businesses. The ECEC will also feature a number of artisans, an art installation, gift shop and café.
Participants should start their tour at ECEC, located just west of downtown Elkton on Highway 38, to pick up an event passport. It will serve as a guide to the weekend’s activities, which include studio tours, wine tastings, and shopping opportunities.
The event is free and open to the public. Passports are also available at all participating businesses or can be downloaded at: https://elktonbutterflies.com/
