The southbound lane of Northeast Winchester Street in Roseburg will be closed between Northeast Wright Avenue and Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard for pavement restoration work on Wednesday.

A city release said that section of Winchester Street will be closed to all traffic between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., as contractor complete pavement repairs.

Traffic control signs will be in place to detour southbound motorists around the closure. The northbound lane of traffic will remain open through the work zone.

Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
