ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR REPORTED PRIOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman Friday for reported prior child endangerment.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old for an incident that had allegedly occurred on November 15th where her child had an unknown medical issue that resulted in extensive medical treatment. Further investigation revealed the child had been exposed to fentanyl. This reportedly took place in the 400 block of Northeast Nash Street.

The woman was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, and recklessly endangering another person. Bail was set at $12,500.  She was released later in the day.
