The Umpqua Valley Wine Growers Association has announced that its 2nd annual Thanksgiving Weekend Open House will take place this Friday through Sunday, November 29th through December 1st.

A UVWA release said the event invites wine lovers, locals and visitors alike to explore the local wine region and enjoy tastings, exclusive releases and unique experiences at participating wineries throughout the area.

Executive Director Ali Rodgers said more than 14 wineries will be participating in the special weekend. Event highlights will include:

*Exclusive wine tastings

*Winemaker interactions

*Live music and food pairings

*Special offers and discounts.

Rodgers said, “We’re thrilled to invite the public to experience the charm of Umpqua Valley wineries during one of the most festive times of the year”. Rogers said, “It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family and friends, while discovering the incredible wines that make this region so special”.
