The rider was injured in a skateboard versus pickup accident on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 7:15 a.m. a motorist was making a left turn from Rifle Range Road to eastbound Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard on a green light. An 18-year-old man was skateboarding in the north/south crosswalk on Diamond Lake on a walk signal. He was struck by the pickup. The rider received some minor abrasions on his hands and left leg from his fall.

The pickup driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
