The Oregon Senate Republican Caucus has announced that Senate Republican Leader Daniel Bonham of The Dalles, was re-elected by his peers late last week to serve as Leader for the upcoming legislative session.
Under Leader Bomham’s guidance, the Caucus remains committed to building a safer, stronger, and more affordable Oregon for all.
Leader Bonham said, “I’m deeply honored by the trust my colleagues have placed in me to continue serving as their Leader”. Bonham said, “Our Caucus is united in its commitment to tackling rising costs, addressing crime and homelessness, improving education and restoring accountability in state government”.
A release said the Senate Republican Caucus’s leadership team remains unchanged:
*Republican Leader: Daniel Boham of The Dalles
*Deputy Leader: David Brock Smith of Port Orford
*Deputy Leader: Cedric Hayden of Fall Creek
*Deputy Leader: Dick Anderson of Lincoln City
*Whip: Suzanne Weber of Tillamook.
Deputy Leader David Brock Smith said, “Keeping the same leadership team shows how united we are as a caucus”. Brock Smith said, “This stability reflects our shared commitment to addressing the issues that Oregonians care most about – like safety, affordability and accountability. It’s clear that voters are with us on these priorities, and we’re ready to keep fighting for them”.
