Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged harassment incident on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 8:00 p.m. officers responded to Motel 6 in the 3100 block of Northwest Aviation Drive after an employee claimed a woman had punched her in the stomach.

Officers contacted 46-year-old Christy Allen near her motel room and told her she was under arrest. Allen allegedly tried to flee the room but was taken into custody after a brief fight. She was charged with harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree escape and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $17,500.
