The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is offering free fishing days right after Thanksgiving on November 29th and 30th.
An ODFW release said that offer also applies to clamming and crabbing as well.
No fishing/shellfish licenses or tags are required those two days. Both Oregon residents and nonresidents can fish for free.
All other fishing regulations apply including closures, bag limits and size restrictions. See the Oregon Sports Fishing Regulations: Oregon Fishing Seasons & Rules | eRegulations for rules and remember to check for any in-season regulation updates as well, especially for salmon and steelhead fishing: Fishing regulation updates | Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife
ODFW’s Recreation Report is updated weekly and features the best bets for fishing in the upcoming week.
