A Drain teen was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:50 p.m. an Oakland man was driving east on Stearns Lane near Crystal Lane in the Oakland area when the 17-year-old male -made a left-hand turn in front of him. The driver who caused the wreck was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center with a complaint of pain.

The second driver’s sedan had to be towed away, while the pickup hit was able to be driven from the accident scene.
