Roseburg Police jailed a woman for DUII Monday after her second offense in just over 90 minutes.
An RPD report said just after 2:20 a.m. an officer stopped the 30-year-old for traffic violations near the intersection of Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. The officer observed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. She was transported to corrections where she was cited and released for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Her vehicle was left parked at the scene.
Just before 4:00 a.m. an officer stopped the same woman after watching her driving near Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Stewart Parkway almost immediately after being released from corrections for the first offense. The woman again consented to standard field sobriety tests and performed poorly a second time. She was jailed for two counts of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Bail was set at $20,000. Her vehicle was towed away.
