Roseburg Police jailed a man for unlawful possession of a firearm on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 2:30 p.m. officers contacted the 57-year-old after an alleged disturbance at his residence in the 3100 block of West Shasta Avenue. The disturbance was unfounded, but the man admitted to having a firearm in the home despite his court ordered firearm prohibition. He was taken into custody without issue and the firearm was seized.

Bail was set at $6,250.
