A Portland man was arrested following an alleged reckless driving incident Saturday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 8:40 p.m. a deputy contacted the 36-year-old after observing him driving at a high rate of speed on Interstate 5 near Rice Hill. The four-door sedan was being driven with no lights on in the dark. Oregon State Police had developed probably cause for the man’s arrest and he was taken into custody on the charge of reckless driving.
