ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR LITTERING, BURNING AND CAMPING CHARGES

Roseburg Police cited a man for littering, burning, and camping charges on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:30 a.m. 44-year-old Johnathon Shell was contacted at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. Shell reportedly had a bed and cardboard shelter set up in the pavilion next to the snack shack. He allegedly had a fire going in a metal five-gallon bucket and his camp was surrounded by trash. Shell was cited for offensive littering, prohibited burning and prohibited camping. He was released after the citation was issued.
