A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for central Douglas County through 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said visibility of one quarter mile or less is expected in dense fog across the Umpqua Valley. Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Drivers should slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and other vehicles.
