Roseburg Police jailed a man for prohibited camping on Thursday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:45 a.m. the 47-year-old was contacted at his camp below the frisbee golf course in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The camp had been previously posted for cleanup to be done Thursday. The man’s camp was still set up and was in a prohibited area. He was given multiple opportunities to leave but allegedly refused.

He had two prior prohibited camping convictions and was arrested. He was detained on $5,000 bail.
