ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED PRIOR RESTRAINING ORDER VIOLATION

Roseburg Police jailed a man Sunday for a reported prior restraining order violation.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers contacted the 57-year-old at the courthouse in the 1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. He allegedly drove by the protected party on Friday, honked his vehicle horn and flipped her off. The man admitted to honking at the protected party, but claimed he only waived at her.

He was detained on $5,000 bail.
