Roseburg Police cited a man for first-degree criminal trespass and for prohibited camping on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:50 p.m. the 52-year-old was contacted on railroad property near the corner of Northeast Airport Road and Northwest Stewart Parkway. His tent was set up after 8:00 a.m. and the man claimed it had been set up there for the last five days.

The man was given a reasonable amount of time to pack up his things and leave the property and was released after the citation was issued.
