Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant Thursday night, after his backpack was found.

An RPD report said during an investigation, officers learned the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was contacted at 9:45 p.m. at a residence in the 2800 block of Northeast Douglas Avenue and his property was returned. He was then taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,000.
