Sutherlin Downtown Development has two events coming up for the Halloween season.
For families, the annual Trunk or Treat takes place on Saturday. Central Avenue will be turned into a gathering place for scarecrows, witches and vendors with all things in celebration of Halloween. The festivities will feature the Roseburg Hexenbrut Dancing Witches, and local businesses vying for first place in a scarecrow contest. Candy will be available for trick-or-treaters all over the downtown area. It takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On the scarier side, the Terror Off Central Haunted House will take place Saturday and again next Wednesday. It is located at 103 West Central Avenue. It will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. next Wednesday. Admission is free.
