TRANSIENT JAILED FOR WARRANTS, AFTER INCIDENT AT STORAGE UNITS

A transient was jailed for warrants after an incident at a storage unit facility in Green Sunday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 11:50 p.m. deputies were called to the business in the 1600 block of Green Siding Road after a caller said two people were inside the fenced in area. Deputies could not get through the gates initially but contacted one woman through the fence. She advised that there was another woman there with her, who had left recently.

The other female was eventually seen running around inside of the fenced area but then got into a porty potty at that location. After deputies got a gate code and could get inside, they identified the woman who was running as a 38-year-old who had a warrant. She was detained on $10,000 bail. The other woman showed a receipt that she had a storage unit on that property. She said that she had gotten locked inside when the gates closed.
