ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED HARASSMENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Friday night.

An RPD report said at 6:15 p.m. officers responded after a caller said there was a disturbance near Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. The 50-year-old suspect had reportedly punched a victim in the face. There was video footage of the incident that showed the victim’s recollection of the incident was accurate.

The suspect was charged with harassment and second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $5,000. He was released on Saturday.
