A Green man was jailed for a weapons violation Friday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 10:30 a.m. the 50-year old’s probation officer located a firearm in the man’s home in the 2100 block of Jackie Avenue while conducting a home monitor. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and a parole violation. The man was detained without bail.
