The Douglas County Fair Board is holding a special meeting on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. in rooms 216 and 220 of the Douglas County Courthouse.

An Executive Session, not open to the public, will be held to interview applicants for the fairgrounds director position. Current Director Dan Hults will retire at the end of the year.

Following that, the board will re-convene in a public meeting and discuss a potential hiring decision. Public comments will be taken during that segment.
