FARMERS MARKET TO MOVE TO DOWNTOWN ROSEBURG IN NOVEMBER

October 11, 2024 3:40 a.m.

After months of planning with the City of Roseburg, and meeting with downtown businesses and vendors, the Umpqua Valley Farmers’ Market has announced that it will move to the 500 block of Southeast Jackson Street downtown beginning on November 2nd.

Market Manager Erin Maidlow said the longest running farmers’ market in Douglas County is excited to make the change.  Maidlow said attendees will be able to shop from their favorite vendors and food trucks, enjoy live music, and visit downtown businesses, all at the same time. Market hours will remain the same: Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Details regarding parking, vendor booth locations and special events for the holiday season will be coming soon. Until November, the market will remain in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church on West Harvard Avenue.
