MYRTLE CREEK MAN ARRESTED FOR PAST ASSAULT CASE

A Myrtle Creek man was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday for a past assault case.

A DCSO report said shortly after 6:00 p.m. 18-year-old Lane Gentry turned himself in based on a probable cause affidavit from a prior incident. Gentry was charged with first-degree theft, second-degree robbery, and third-degree assault. Gentry was detained on $50,000 bail.

No other information was released by DCSO.
