Roseburg Police cited 5 people for prohibited camping on Monday.

An RPD report said citations were given in Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street, at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, and at Charles Gardiner Park in the 2600 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard.

The citations were issued between 11:30 a.m. and 3:20 p.m.

All those cited were in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance. Each was released after being given a citation.
