A Sutherlin man was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle wreck on Friday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 3:00 p.m. the 60-year-old was driving east on Hayhurst Road in the Yoncalla area when his vehicle went over the white line, and hit the gravel, causing him to lose control. The vehicle then flipped.

The driver was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
