ONE JAILED, TWO CITED FOR DUII INCIDENTS

One person was jailed and two were cited, following DUII incident between late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said at 11:50 p.m. officers stopped a 23-year-old Oakland woman after she allegedly committed several traffic violations on Interstate 5 northbound near the Edenbower Boulevard interchange. Officers observed signs of impairment, and the woman consented to standard field sobriety tests. She performed poorly and was arrested. She was transported to corrections where she was cited and released for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Her vehicle was impounded.

At approximately 12:45 a.m. a 41-year-old Roseburg woman was contacted in her vehicle, which was blocking the entrance to Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. She was obviously impaired and consented to standard field sobriety tests, The woman was allegedly so intoxicated that she could not perform them, and the tests had to be stopped for safety reasons. She was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. The woman was detained without bail. She was released later in the morning.

At 3:00 a.m. officers observed a driver commit several traffic violations near the intersection of Northeast Jackson Street and Northeast Freemont Avenue. Officers immediately observed indicators of impairment from the 42-year-old Roseburg man. He consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. The man was arrested for DUII and transported to corrections where he was cited and released for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.
